What an exciting week with Living Threads Co.! This past week, the Living Threads Co. team was invited to participate in InterAction’s Forum 2016 in Washington D.C. While at the conference, we featured our collections of handwoven blankets, scarves and tabletop linens (including select pieces from our brand new Nepalese collection!); while also sharing our mission with passionate socially conscious professionals. We feel so fortunate to have participated in this event that connects like-minded professionals from a variety of sectors to forge common solutions on pressing social challenges.

InterAction Forum 2016 hosted close to 2,000 professionals from civil society, government, philanthropic organizations, and NGOs among others. These professionals all work within the international development and humanitarian realm; and recognize the significance of small scale, entrepreneurial endeavors. Topics at the Forum covered social enterprises, rights of women and girls, global nutrition, and impact investing just to name a few.
